When I was younger, when I was just starting out, I didn’t have much.
There were days I couldn’t afford to take shortcuts, let alone a ride home.
One night after a long workout, I found myself sitting at the back of a crowded bus, exhausted. My legs ached, my mind was tired, and I felt like the odds were stacked too high.
As I sat there, watching the lights of the city flash by, I had a thought:
Why am I doing this?
Why not quit and make life easier?
The answer came in a whisper: Because easy isn’t what builds greatness.
That night, I realized something important—motivation isn’t about feeling good; it’s about committing to the journey, even when you don’t feel like it.
It’s in those moments when quitting seems easiest that we decide who we really are.
The truth is, life will throw challenges your way.
You’ll have days when everything feels heavy, when progress seems distant, and when you question whether it’s all worth it. But those are the moments that matter most.
The only way forward is through—rep by rep, choice by choice, step by step.
If I had given up on that bus, I wouldn’t be where I am today. The journey was never about getting somewhere quickly—it was about becoming someone I could respect. And that’s what I want for you.
Wherever you are on your path, know this: You are capable of more than you think. Motivation isn’t about waiting for the right moment—it’s about showing up, no matter what.
